In the era of knowledge and technology war, companies are tried hard to get armed with the latest technology to gain competency over their competitors in the market. They are investing huge amount of dollars in new research and innovation and get protection through patents, copyright and trademark etc.

With the event of internet and word wide web (www) information and knowledge retrieval in every domain is just one mouse click apart. The main constrains for the knowledge worker is integration of the data and information obtained from variety of sources into meaningful results and representation of this huge data set into highly visual format for the ease of understanding and concluding valuable insights for better business intelligence. Another problem is getting regular updates about the new happening in any particular technology domain.

There is always need for the tools and techniques to aid the knowledge professional in search, retrieval and deriving meaningful insights from mining and analysis of the gathered informational data set form different sources. In-spite of lots of tools and software available today for knowledge mining and integration, but none is free from limitations.

Dolcera Infomaxx Pvt. Ltd., a Hyderabad, India based patent research outsourcing (PRO) firm have developed some in-house tools and techniques to solve these limitations to very extend. A lot other Indian knowledge firms are engaged in development of new tools to solve these problems, though basic scripting. Thus in conclusion, this is a high potential area and we may get better tools in near future.
